The Present

In 2000, Missy (Sh.Ch. Sametsuz Mak’n Mischief) certainly made mischief with “James”(Sh.Ch. Danaway Fortune Teller J.W.)

This successful dalliance was to create 3 top quality dogs.

My own Sh.Ch. Sametsuz Honey Trap ("Dixie"). 8 C.C.’s and 8 R.C.C’s.

My beautiful Dixie was later mated to Shenanagin What Next (“Harvey”).

2 lovely boy pups were placed in show homes. One in the U.K., Sametsuz Up to Mischief via McConkeys and one in Belgium Sametsuz Kindred Spirit owned by Gust Hendrix.

Both dogs are currently giving their owners great pleasure in and out of the show-ring.

In 2000 on a visit to Brian and Mary Gurney I as smitten by a beautiful puppy bitch and “Cookie” (Danaway Mata Hari) came home to Scotland. She never enjoyed the show ring but achieved a number of Championship show wins including a R.C.C. She later fell for the charms of Diane Ritchie’s handsome and charismatic Harvey (Sh.Ch./Ir.Sh.Ch Gwendariff Dom Perignon J.W.) and as a result she gave birth to 11 very special babes. I was entranced by a little girl and she is Sametsuz Secret Affair J .W. (“Roxie”), while Diane fell for a boy Secret Liaison at Gwendariff (“Bentley”) and she somehow sneaked him back to Northern Ireland to live at Gwendariff with his dad.

“Bentley” is following in his dads footsteps and is already making his presence felt having won a number of young classes at Championship Shows.

My “ Roxie” is every bit the showgirl, she has that fabulous attitude in the show ring that wins her more and more friends.

To date she has had a very successful puppy and junior show career, gaining a number of Best Puppy in Breed awards including Crufts 2006 and her Junior Warrant along the way. Now ns Yearling classes she continues to give me great thrills recently being awarded R.C.C.

Above all else she is an absolute joy to live with.

In April 07 “Dixie” took a fancy to the handsome “Harvey” Sh Ch/ Ir Sh Ch Gwendariff Dom Perignon JW and in June produced a lovely daughter “Indie” (Sametsuz A Taste Of Honey).

Indie made her “stage debut” at Manchester Champ. show 2008 winning Minor Puppy Bitch and has been enjoying the few shows she has attended so far

That brings the “Sametsuz” story up to date. What the future holds, who knows but over the years these marvellousl girls have given me many wonderful experiences and the show scene has introduced me to great friends I would otherwise never have known.
